That is the conclusion, scientists have come from research involving the newly minted parents from the UK, Denmark and the USA. They were asked to keep diaries in which to indicate how much time the child is awake, holds the hands of the mother, as often cry babies wake up at night, and how moms and dads quickly react (or not) to tears.
Parents should have been recorded in the diary periods of 8-14 days, 5-6 weeks and 10-14 weeks of age of their child. Participants were asked to complete questionnaires to record crying, even the researchers came to their house.
At 10 days of age the most caring parents (from different countries) were carried out with the babies for 16 hours a day, many of them slept in one bed. A typical London parents keep babies on their hands, about 8.5 hours a day, Copenhagen - less than 10 hours.
London parents also abandoned babies cry a lot longer than the other groups. And, in general, paid for it: in future periods (2, 5, 12 weeks) of their children were shouting, crying and waking up at night to 50% more than other babies.
